PIA of Louisiana invites you to join us as we celebrate our 82nd Annual Convention. Let's Jive Again... Poodle Skirts to Policy Perks!

Come Twist & Shout as we return to the Marriott Grand Hotel, Resort & Spa in Point Clear Alabama for our convention.  This year's event will keep the new day pattern we used last year, with events starting on Friday evening and running through Sunday night. 

Accommodations: Grab your shades, shine up those loafers, and cruise on down to Fairhope Alabama — because when it comes to Southern splendor, the Grand Hotel is strictly first class..., no ifs, ands, or buts about it. The hotel offers a variety of rooming options and buildings with rates starting at $329/night (taxes, resort fees and parking fees are extra).

• Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
• Valet Parking is available for $32 a day. Self-parking is included in your resort fee.
• Reservations must be made by June19, 2026 (based on availability).

• Building or other preferences can be submitted at the end of the online reservation process.  

Agenda: The Good Times will kick off on FRIDAY with registration opening at 4:00 pm and our Welcome Back Reception starting at 5:30 pm.  We hope this gives you time for company dinners or a relaxing evening.  The YIPs will hold their Hospitality Bash Friday night starting at 10 pm. Exhibit Hall: Grab your Poodle Skirts and Leather Jackets and come Shake, Rattle & Roll through the isles of the Exhibit Hall on Saturday Night. Take a stroll and get the skinny on what's happening with our exhibitors as you connect with your industry peers. Remember, we give out prizes to the best dressed hipsters!

Dance Party: "Let's Go To the Hop, Oh Baby..."  That's right, our dance party will be a SOCK HOP.  So stay in those rad duds and plan to dance the night away as we turn the ballroom into a Jukebox Jumpin' good time!

Education: “Grab your notebook and settle in — we will offer 4 brain-boost sessions to meet your CE needs.  They will be packed with know-how, bright ideas, and straight-from-the-source wisdom. It’s back to school, and this time, you’re acing the test.”  More details on specific courses will be available soon.

What To Wear: Outside of the exhibit hall, attire for most convention events is resort casual. The General Session and Awards Luncheon are a little snazzier, so business casual attire will work there. Remember, the meeting space temperature can be unpredictable. Be sure to stay comfortable by having a sweater or light jacket on-hand.
