PIA of Louisiana invites you to join us as we celebrate our 81st Convention. The Beachside Retreat...Camp, Connect and Grow

Come Camp, Connect and Grow as we discover the natural beauty of this new location, The Lodge at Gulf State Park. This year's event will also have a new day pattern, with events starting on Friday evening and running through Sunday night. 

Accommodations: Come explore the great outdoors in this environmentally-friendly compound nestled right on the beach in the State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Our host hotel is dedicated to sustainability, offering a clean, smoke-free environment to ensure a comfortable and eco-conscious stay for all guests. The hotel offers a variety of rooming options starting at $299/night. Hotel Check-In is 4:00 p.m. Additional hotel information may be found below. 

Agenda: With our new start day comes some changes to our agenda. Be sure to check it out prior to making your hotel reservation. Convention Registration will open at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25th and our first event, the Welcome Back Reception, will begin at 7:30 p.m. View the Tentative Agenda for more details. 

Exhibit Hall: Our exhibit hall encampment will take place on Saturday, July 26th in the Gulfview Ballroom. Wind your way through over 50 supporting companies as you connect with your industry peers. We encourage our attendees and exhibitors camping theme and dress up and decorate accordingly.

Education: At this Convention, PIA offers you the chance to grow with a host of educational opportunities. Participants can earn up to 9 hours of Continuing Education during the program. Check the agenda for specific details. 

What To Wear: Outside of the CAMP themed exhibit hall, attire for most convention events is resort casual. The General Session and Awards Luncheon are business casual attire. Remember, the meeting space temperature can be unpredictable. Be sure to stay comfortable by having a sweater or light jacket on-hand.

HOTEL INFORMATION

The Lodge at Gulf State Park is a proud leader in the Sustainable Tourism movement, enhancing the overall stay experience in an environmentally sensitive manner while also protecting the destination’s natural habitat.

They offer a variety of rooming options starting at $299 per night. Maximum capacity per room is 4 people.  Those with larger families can contact the PIA office for recommendations.

Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-618-4350 and using GROUP CODE: 90I, or by using this PIA Convention Hotel Booking Link. (You may need to edit your check-in and check-out dates)

  • Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
  • A deposit of one night’s stay will be charged for each reservation.
  • To make a reservation or check into the hotel, guests must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Self-parking is available for $15/day and valet parking is $22/day.
  • Reservations must be made by July 1, 2025 (based on availability).
  • Cancellations must be received by the hotel 5 days prior to check-in. Please check with PIA staff to see if anyone is on a waiting list for a room prior to cancelling.
